Blue Ginger, Bangalore - Landscape

Blue Ginger is a Vietnamese restaurant situated at the Taj West End hotel, Bangalore. We love this place - the food, the ambience, and the service! I will write a review of the food, on PegNPig.

What amazes me, always, is the landscape design. The property is beautifully maintained. Once inside the property, you'll be transported to some tropical rain forest. The fish and aqua plants add a romantic touch to the water bodies. The birds and butterflies are at peace. Feels awesome to watch a dried leaf fall on the well-maintained lawn or to watch a fish silently swim under a lily leaf.

Yes, you are correct; the property truly illustrates the bygone beauty of Bangalore - 'Garden City.' Sad that we have lost a lot of greenery, but appreciate all the people who are working towards recreating a greener Bangalore. Hundreds of people have started to grow plants at home. Absolutely love them for the effort!

All right, I'll let the photos do the talking. Sorry about the clarity; photos were taken from a smartphone.

Enjoy the weekend!

    1. During the butterfly hatching season, oh my God, the place looks splendid! When I extended my hand, a butterfly sat nicely on my fingers, and then flew away. That was my special moment. :)

  4. Beautiful garden! Love the fact they are just not only passionate about food but also gardening. Those water lilies in the aquatic garden are very attractive. Can't believe they set up a butterfly park as well. Wow! Thank you for sharing, Asha! You have another great week!
