Garden at Kamath Upchar Restaurant, Hosur

Happy weekend, friends!

When you drive from Krishnagiri > Hosur > Bangalore, you'll find Kamath Upchar restaurant (Reliance A1 Plaza). During our recent visit, we stopped at the restaurant for lunch. Good food!

After lunch, I walked around the property to see the plants. Most of the Kamath restaurants have plants in their property; may not be with fancy landscaping, but houses healthy plants.

The bright Yellow-colored Allamanda flowers drew my attention. The creeper was filled with flowers. On a cloudy day, the Yellow brightened the atmosphere. The bridal bouquet creeper too had amazing amount of flowers, and oh, the fragrance of the Allamanda and the bridal bouquet flowers filled the air. I should also mention about the Purple-colored passion flower. I love its structure and fragrance.

Look at the choice of flowering plants. All these creepers are easy to grow, love the Sun, and are fragrant. Tamil Nadu is known to sport high temperatures; one sweats like crazy. These flowers are like a spray of natural perfume or natural air freshener, to the restaurant. The customers may like to be welcomed by the colorful flowers.

The little garden also had banana plants, bearing fruits. The gooseberry tree was flaunting tiny fruits. The custard apple plant also had a fruit. The chilli plants had long chillies. Was beautiful to observe that the restaurant cared for plants!

Wish all the restaurants or hotels adopt the concept of having a garden of plants.

Sharing a few photos (for Fertilizer Friday and Floral Friday Fotos).

Regards,

Asha
